Ron Paul Winds Down Campaign
By Matthew Michaels - March 8, 2008 | Email the author

Congressman Ron Paul virtually dropped out of the campaign for the Republican nomination for President of the United States with a video posted to his Web site, but he will continue to travel around the country to encourage grassroots support of his libertarian “revolution” according to the Washington Post. No word on whether or not he will officially endorse expected Republican nominee John McCain, but he has said in the past that he will remain in the Republican party — he is also currently running to retain his seat in the House of Representatives — rather than run for President on the Libertarian Party or other third party ticket.

According to the latest Associated Press tally, Dr. Paul has won 14 delegates during the nomination process to date.
